Chonburi Sriracha is a small seaside town located about 100kms from Thailand’s capital city, Bangkok. Of the 20,000 people that reside in the province of Chonburi, the majority live in the heart of this township. One of the main highlights of this intriguing destination is the fact it is surprisingly quiet, unlike Pattaya, which is the main beach resort just 40kms to the east. Hotels in Chonburi Sriracha cater to all budgets. Visiting the beach here is one of the main attractions, although being so close to the mouth of the Chao Phraya River, the water here is usually dirtier and murkier than that of other surrounding beaches. Bang-sen Beach and Koh Sichang are just two of the popular daytrips visitors can experience.
