Introduction to Chiang Mai - Mae Rim
The gateway to Northern Thailand's hill tribes, Chang Mai is a popular holiday destination filled with culture and surrounded by mountains and picturesque countryside. Attracting millions of tourists each year, the Mae Rim district 14kms north of the city is filled with attractions including the Queen Sirikit Botanical Gardens. This area of Chang Mai is surrounded by golf courses and greenery. The most visited attraction in the area is the Mase Sa Elephant Camp, which is one of the largest such camps in Northern Thailand.
