Swimming: is a good idea for beating the heat and many hotels have swimming pools. If yours doesn’t, you can pay to use the one at the Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel or the public pool at Chiang Mai Land or the 700 Year Stadium. There is also a recreation lake near this sports complex called Huay Tung Tao for nature swimming, along with pools at the waterfalls.
