Introduction to Bangkok - Bangna
Bangna is a district of Bangkok, Thailand which separated from the larger subdistrict of Phra Khanong in 1998. There are several modern three- and four-star Bangna hotels which have become popular alternatives to hotels situated closer to central Bangkok. Bangna is only a 20-minute drive away from both the On Nut Skytrain (BTS) station and Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport, but the bustling suburb also contains many attractions within its own boundaries. The Bangkok International Motor Show is just one of the popular events hosted at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre, the biggest facility of its kind in all of Bangkok. Bangna was also home to the world's biggest restaurant for 16 years, an outdoor seafood restaurant which remains open today and which is still so large, the servers wear rollerskates.
