July is the hottest month of the year with an average temperature of about 29°C. Autumn stretches from September to November and is generally cooler than summer but still warm. It is one the best times of year to visit the city. Winters are short but can be cold with average temperatures of about 10°C. Winter generally lasts from December to February.

January sees strong winds and frequent rain showers. The official rainy season dœesn’t begin until April, but rain is often common at the beginning of the year.
