Introduction to Keelung, Taiwan
Keelung is a charming city in north Taiwan. Famous for its port and great fresh seafood a holiday here you will not forget. Hotels which can be found mainly in the districts in the city as well as a few in the city centre, are all located excellently for reaching the cities main attractions. When in the town you must visit Heping Island, it is connected to the city by a bridge where you will also find a great fresh fish market. Sample the fresh fish for great prices. In the East, you will find the Miaokou Night Market, near to here you will also find some of Keelung hotels. At the night market sample some of Taiwan's famous cuisine including shaved flavoured ice or bean noodle soup. In the centre of the market you will see the stunning Dianji Temple. In the West, you must visit Waimu Shan seashore a natural and untouched stretch of coast also popular is Lovers Lake.
