The First Hotel, Taipei is in the commercial district, on Nanking East Road, about 5 minutes walk from a bus stop, and 10 minutes walk from Zhongshan MRT Station, which connects to other city sites, including the Taipei World Trade Centre and Taipei 101 shopping area. The hotel offers adequate services such as an up to date business centre, small fitness room, coffee shop and a restaurant. There are 2 restaurants, Pung Yuan and Ning Yuan serving excellent provincial Chinese cuisine, in addition to a nice Teppanyaki restaurant in the basement and a coffee shop on the ground floor.

The lobby is medium in size with a well maintained with a comfortable seating area.
