Introduction to Chiayi, Taiwan
In the southwest plains of Taiwan lies Chiayi City, the jumping off point to Alishan, a scenic mountain area on the island. Accessible via high speed train from the capital of Taipei and Kaohsiung, the station itself is located 15kms outside the city limit and is linked to Chiayi by the BRT system.
