One of the city of Damascus’ best boutique properties is the Talisman Al Ameen Hotel Damascus. It is charming and well located in the Old Town, about a hundred yards from the Medhat Pacha. The historical site of Bab Sharqui, known for its street markets, is also within walking distance. Sited on a quiet, small street, makes this authentic Arab house a great place to spend a vacation.
