Introduction to Zurzach, Switzerland

Located a few miles from the Rhine in northern Switzerland and easily accessible from the roads that run parallel to it, Zurzach is filled with heritage sites that warrant a stop at the very least, and possibly a few nights in Zurzach hotels. There are a couple of churches - St Verena on Hauptstrasse and the Reformed Church at Schwertgasse 153, that will take you back to a different time and place. However, in modern history this heritage town is best known for its thermal baths. There are also a couple of culinary spots that are sure to please even the most critical consumers. Two internationally acclaimed restaurants are available for those willing to spend a little extra. The Tenedo is a few miles outside of town, but the settlement dates back to the Roman era and is a truly unique place. The Roman Rhine watchtower rounds out the list of must-sees.
