Introduction to Valbella, Switzerland

The Swiss village of Valbella is set amid some of the most stunning mountain scenery in Switzerland's Graubunden. The village itself has beautiful little buildings and plenty of Swiss charm. The Lenzerheide ski resort is close to the village, and this enchanting resort boasts a total of 58 pistes, which together comprise of 155kms in length. The pistes are at an altitude of 2,500 metres so it is possible to ski all year round. There is also a snowboard park at Lenzerheide which has straight boxes, down boxes, floaters and kickers. The resort also features a number of child care services which have won the Families Welcome award. Additionally, there is an adventure playground. Other activities in the Valbella area include cross-country skiing, mountain biking and of course, hiking along the many trails in the region. The Heidsee Lid has a bathing beach and a beautiful backdrop. There are plenty of Valbella hotels available in the area to suit all budgets.
