Introduction to Naters, Switzerland
In the south of Switzerland, close to the Italian border in the district of Brig, Naters is a small town most famous for punching well above its weight in football, given its local team features in the country's top division. This is a town well-known for its summer sunshine, with some 300 days of sun each year despite its Alpine location. It's therefore a great place for summer sports including mountain biking and trekking, and there is also a golf course here which takes in the amazing local mountain scenery.
