The scenery around Morschach consists of rolling green hills and forests, with the nature the biggest draw for most people. Tours can be arranged to mountain passes along with hiking excursions, where any tiredness is quickly diminished by the incredible views. Lake Lucerne is just a short distance away, where the activities continue with boat trips, windsurfing and sailing. Thrill-seekers can get the best view of the lake, along with the birds, by paragliding. The largest sports, swimming and leisure centre in Switzerland, the Swiss Holiday Park, is found in Morschach so even if the weather is poor, there is still plenty to do. Some Morschach hotels have swimming pools, but there is also a refreshing alpine pool outdoors along with bathing areas by Lake Lucerne. Due to Morschach being so centrally located, it is also an ideal starting point to embark on trips to other nearby Swiss cities.
