Situated in the southwest of Switzerland, close to the borders with Germany and Italy, Leytron is a small town lying in a valley in the district of Martigny. This is a great place to unwind with its hot thermal baths, one of which is inside and the others in the open air. In the winter, Leytron gets plenty of snow, and there is a ski resort at 2,400 metres above sea level on the mountains close by that features about 15 miles of pistes that suit all levels of competency. The resort offers all the usual amenities including ski hire, lifts and a restaurant. In summer, this area is popular because of the baths and mountain walks and in autumn, the leaves come alive in different shades courtesy of the area's microclimate. Leytron hotels are mostly situated right in the heart of the town and there is accommodation in and around the skiing areas, too.
