Introduction to Geneva - Airport
Geneva’s international airport is the main arrivals hub and gateway to this politically and financially important city. It is served by the majority of European carriers and offers transatlantic routes to the USA and Canada. The facility is also an important hub for budget airline EasyJet, with flights from the UK as well as other European cities. Destinations served include most major European and North African cities, a wide selection of resort and island destinations, plus New York, Moscow, Bangkok, Tashkent, Tel Aviv ad Reykjavik. Ground transportation includes a rail connection to Geneva and other cities in the small country, local buses, taxis and in the winter ski season, large numbers of chartered coaches bound for the slopes in Switzerland, Italy and France.
