Bellevue Terminus Hotel - Engelberg

Situated in the city centre of Engelberg, the Bellevue Terminus Hotel is within walking distance of the cultural highlights such as the Engelberg Museum and the famed monastery. Daytrips can be arranged to Lucerne as well as to points of interest such as the Water Tower, Chapel Bridge, the Nature Museum, and the Lion Monument. The hotel restaurant is just off the lobby. It is in slightly more rustic style than the lobby with solid old furniture. Huge windows give the room a lovely airy feel.

The lobby is large and imposing with elegant pillars and decorative coving to the ceiling, though, like the exterior of the hotel, it could do with some renovation. There is plentiful seating and a pool table.

Obviously once a very grand building, the hotel is now showing its age rather. The building is, like many of the hotels in Engelberg, in traditional Swiss/British style, with ornate plaster work and large sash windows.
