By air: the city has two airports: Landvetter Airport and Gothenburg City Airport. Landvetter Airport is the main airport, situated about 25kms east of the city. There are several airlines that serve this airport including SAS, FlyMe, Lufthansa, and KLM. From the airport, there’s a bus service that will take you to the city in just 30 minutes.
Gothenburg City Airport is closer to Gothenburg, but is a lot smaller and generally served by low-cost airlines. As it’s a small airport, the transport options are not very extensive and taking a taxi is usually the best option.
By rail: the central station in Gothenburg receives trains from every part of Sweden. The station is located in the heart of Goteborg on Drottningtorget square.
By bus: many bus companies including Eurolines, Safflebussen and Swebus Express provide connections between other Swedish destinations and Gothenburg. Buses stop at Nils Ericsson Terminalen, linked to the central train station.
