Gardet is a largely residential district in Stockholm's central area, also known as Ladugardsgardet. At its heart lies the wonderfully spacious Tessinparken, a green park with trees, flowers and fountains that is open to the public and was the world's first national city park. Surrounding Tessinparken are many modernist apartment buildings that were built during in 1930s.
