Scandic Sundsvall Nord is conveniently situated by the town´s northern junction, three kilometres outside the city centre. The hotel boasts modern conference facilities for up to 100 people. The hotel is located near Gärdehov, featuring the Sundsvall Exhibition Centre, Tipshallen, ice hockey and curling rinks, and football pitches.

Bedrooms are in good condition, of small size and standard twin design.

Restaurant is very simple in its layout and decor the furniture is a simple mix of woods. Restaurant serves international cuisine. Hotel also has a pub and offers a range of pub food, and a broad selection of drinks.

Lobby is fairly small and all available space is used to the full. This can make it feel a little cramped along the corridors and in the lobby Area, but on the whole the hotel is fairly typical of other suburban Scandic properties in Sweden.
