Elite Hotel Residens - Malmo

A stylish and elegant hotel ensuring high standards of service in the heart of Malmo, the Elite Hotel Residens is located in an old narrow side street close to some of the oldest buildings in the city. It is within walking distance of the best cultural and historic attractions of the town, and entertainment centres dot the surrounding area. It is close to the city’s Central Station. The Great Square is also nearby. This classic hotel boasts a good range of facilities, including a spacious dining room, a lobby bar, and a stand alone restaurant.

A generous breakfast buffet is served in the hotel's own dining room on the ground floor, which is situated to the right of the reception desk. Drinks and snacks are also served in the lobbybar during the day as well as in the evenings, however, due to the size and concept of the hotel it does not have a stand alone restaurant. Should this be a requirement then the hotel is able to offer the facilities available at it's nearby sister hotel, The Elite Savoy which is around the corner.

The lobby is a darkly lit and atmospheric space. It is medium in size and has a ornate and circular coloured glass window in the ceiling. A dark wood reception desk and lobby bar are situated to the rear while to one side is a fine classical styled library typically of one you would find in a mansion house. Elsewhere are stylish and appropriately fitting chairs.

Although a modern building only built in the 1980's the facade is actually that of the original building which was built in the late 19th Century. Constructed from red brick and lighter plaster the facade has been retained due to preservation laws.
