The Hotel Mollberg is the oldest hotel in Sweden, dating back to the fourteenth century. Although the hotel's history can be traced back to the fourteenth century the present building has only stood on the site since the early 19th century. Nevertheless this building could not be more magnificent or spectacular even if it tried. Resembling a stately home the hotel exterior consists of a three storey beautifully ornate white facade made of stone as well as a fourth floor made up of dormer windows.
