Introduction to Arjang, Sweden
Arjang is located in western Sweden and is infamous for its large troll statue. Adjacent to the troll statue are stone ponies that children can ride for fun. The area is known for its natural beauty, being just a stone's throw away from the beautiful Glaskogens Nature Reserve. The area surrounding Arjang is full of lakes and forests, offering plenty of outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, canoeing, climbing and cycling. Horse lovers will absolutely enjoy the Nordic Trotting Museum and children will love the huge collection of horseshoes there. The main religious building is the 19th century Silbodal Church, located in the centre of town and home to a famous sculpture of Christ by Swedish sculptor Gunnar Torham.
