Hotel Description
The Amanagalla Horel Galle, Southwest Coast, is situated in the southern capital, standing amongst the shops of handmade lace and antique goods for which the city is famed. Located in the centre of the 17th century stone fort, the scenic colonial architecture of the surrounding narrow streets is just part of the charming experience. Rooms look out through French style window onto the gardens or the adjacent Groote Kerk (Great Church) and are lavishly decorated with beautiful antiques such as four poster beds. The culture themed library, swimming pool and luxury spa are sources of peaceful contemplation. The Handunugoda Tea Plantation is a delicious option for those who want to experience the local teas, and nature lovers can drive 30 minutes north of Galle to enjoy the virgin Hiyare Rainforest.
