The summer months of June through September see temperatures often reaching highs of up to 40°C; unbearably hot for some. After the sun goes down, only a minor relief is felt as temperatures rarely fall below 20°C. Rain is virtually unseen during this time of year and unless you enjoy extreme heat, you should avoid visiting Seville during the summer. However, despite the forecast, August is usually the busiest month of the year.
Winter (November to February) sees warm days and cool nights. It is a great time to visit if you are looking for some winter sun and is the ideal temperature for sightseeing and other outdoor pursuits. However, if you are looking for a quieter time of year to visit when the climate is consistently temperate, spring and autumn are ideal, when the temperatures are never excessively hot and rainfall is moderate.
