Seville Museum of Fine Art: is located in an old convent which dates back to 1612. The museum boasts a variety of collections including gold and silver works, Spanish art and sculptures, and ceramics, armour and weaponry.
Museum of the Macarena: is home to a selection of works of art by Spanish artists. The museum’s showpiece is its stunning statue of the Macarena. During Easter celebrations, the statue is paraded through the city’s streets while crowds pray to it.
Cathedral Museum: is located in the city’s cathedral and houses a large collection of religious artworks including sculptures and paintings.
Museo Taurino (Bullfighting Museum): this museum offers an insight into the national obsession which is bullfighting. Exhibits include photographs from famous matches, information on the sport and a cape painted by Picasso.
Museo de Arte Contemporaneo (Contemporary Art Museum): is located in the Charterhouse of the Santa Maria de las Cuevas. It has a permanent collection of modern art and offers temporary exhibitions by national and international artists.
