International restaurants include French, Italian and Chinese. The notorious fast-food restaurants also make an appearance, although local eateries are still proving to be much more popular.
Local Sevillian cuisine is influenced by traditional home cooking and includes dishes such as sauteed kidneys with sherry, flamenco eggs, stuffed artichokes and fried fish.
The city has a number of very upmarket restaurants where it is possible to spend a lot of money on food. This however doesn’t guarantee quality and more often than not, downmarket local restaurants serve up much better fare.
