Mallorca (Majorca) Travel Guide - Things To Do

Take a walking trip around Palma: while you might spend most of your time relaxing on the beach, Palma is a great town to explore on foot, when the sun isn’t too strong of course.
Visit the Gothic Cathedral, enjoy the courtyard of the old city, see the Arab Baths, Bellver Castle and the Palau de L’Almudaina and browse the market at Mercat Olivar. With plenty of stops for coffees and snacks, you could easily spend half a day exploring here, then relax back in the sea.
The amphitheatre is close by and quite stunning. Aside from the ruins, Alcudia is an attractive town with narrow streets, some interesting shopping and a great market on Sundays.
Enjoy some high adrenalin water sport: the glorious beaches are one of the big attractions here and for many that means sunbathing and relaxing swimming, but there is also plenty of opportunity to really get the adrenalin pumping. Most of the coastal resorts offer a good range of water sports with jet-skiing, pedalos, scuba-diving, banana boat rides, parasailing and windsurfing all readily available.
