Revelta i Beneides de Sant Antoni Abat: this two day festival held every January is great fun to witness, with locals dressing in traditional costumes and enjoying various parades and activities, as well as plenty of good food and drink.
March Festivals
Semana Santa: this festival, also known as Holy Week, is one of the biggest religious festivals in Spain. The celebrations start on Palm Sunday and recall the events of the passion of Christ. In the evening there are street parades. On Maundy Thursday, the ‘La Sang’ procession takes place with a representation of the crucified body of Christ taken through the streets.
