During the summer months it actually becomes the single busiest airport in Spain. The airport is situated just five miles east of the city. There are four terminals here (A,B,C and D), Terminal A is mainly for domestic flights, with B, C and D for international connections.
The airport has decent facilities with a good range of shops for last minute souvenir shopping as well as plenty of cafes, and restaurants. There is also a bank, ATMs and money exchange booths along with Information desks in the arrivals and departure zones as well as the check-in area. Hiring a car is no problem here, with Avis, Betacar, Centauro, Europa, and Hasso all represented at the airport.

Many of the major hotels and resorts provide free shuttle buses for passengers who have booked to stay in their accommodation. It is also possible to pre-book a car to meet you and take you to your destination.
There are plenty of taxis which can be hired outside Arrivals gate D and they are available anytime of the day or night. If you have hired a car, travelling onwards is straightforward, with the main 717 road connecting to the city and beyond.
Short-term parking is free for the first 30 minutes for people dropping off. Each floor has six spaces for drivers with valid disabled badges.
