Things To Do

Things To Do in Madrid
Aquopolis: is a water park located just outside of the city that offers a fun day out for all the family with its variety of water-based attractions.
Among those attractions, visitors will find a number of thrilling slides, water rapids, water mazes, boats and hanging bridges while away from the water there’s a mini golf course, trampolines, a children’s playground and a picnic area. The park has its own fast food eateries so visitors can spend the whole day without worrying about lunch or beverages.
See a Spanish football match: Spanish football matches are among some of the most exciting and enthusiastically attended anywhere in the world and fans of the beautiful game should take the opportunity to see some of the Spaniard’s pitch finesse and expertise by attending a game at either the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu of Real Madrid or the Estadio Vicente Calderon of Atletico Madrid. Tickets can be purchased from offices at the stadiums.
The Museo de la Ciudad: is the visitor’s best and most concise formal introduction to the intricacies of Madrid both past and present. This five-floor facility gives you an in-depth insight into the city’s early days through a variety of fascinating displays, exhibits and interactive features.
Eat out: Madrid offers such great food at such a wide variety of eating establishments that it would be almost criminal to take a trip to the city and not sample some of its cuisine.
If budget permits, seek out some of the higher class establishments where you’ll get Madrid’s interpretation of nouvelle cuisine while if its something a little earthier that you’re looking for then use the clientele within as a guide; if the locals frequent an establishment enthusiastically then you can be sure the food is good even if the prices are cheap and the decor in need of attention.
