Passenger facilities at Madrid Barajas Airport are plentiful at all four terminals with banks, bureaux de change and a post office for essential services and a conference and business centre (located in Terminal 2) on hand for business passengers.
For dining and refreshments, a large number of restaurants and fast food outlets can be found spread across the four terminals with popular international establishments alongside domestic chains. Shopping is equally well covered with over a 100 retail establishment offering everything from clothing to alcohol and tobacco.

Transportation: taxi, metros and buses provide ground transportation options from Madrid Airport and are all available from within the airport grounds. The Metro station which provides speedy connections with the city centre is located at Terminal 2 and operates frequent services throughout the day. From the Metro system it’s possible to connect with the main rail network.

The airport bus service (number 89) runs to the Plaza de Colon from the Arrivals levels of all four terminals with at least four buses leaving every hour. Taxi ranks can also be found outside of the Arrivals areas of each terminal. Taxis are metered and the average journey time to the city is 30 minutes.
