Activities

Activities in Madrid
Golf: Madrid has a variety of excellent golf courses among which is the Real Club de Puerta de Hierro, Campo Villa de Madrid Golf Course and the Real Sociedad Golf Course. Some of Madrid’s courses are private and open to members only or by invitation while others are municipal and available for the use of all.
Fitness centre: Madrid has its fair share of gyms and fitness centres, however most are private and not open to non-members. Many reputable hotels however have their own fitness centres which are free for the use of their guests. If you are the kind of person who enjoys working out regularly then it would make sense for you to book into a hotel with on premises fitness facilities.
Horse riding: equine lovers can indulge their passion for riding at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid sports complex which is located on the edge of Casa del Campo Park. Alternatively in the suburb of Pozuelo, horses can be hired on an hourly or daily basis from the Escuela de Equitacion Pozuelo. Head a little further out of the town and you’ll find horse riding facilities at Manzanares el Real and Cercedilla.
