Average daily temperatures in the months of July and August are 25°C and only slightly lower in June and September. Afternoon storms occasionally occur, but are usually brief and not too disruptive.

The winter season sees temperatures drop significantly although day time temperatures in the city are still considerably warmer than those experienced in the UK. At night it’s not unusual for temperatures to drop below freezing so it’s advisable to bring some warm clothing if visiting at this time.
