Parque de las Ciencias (Science Museum and Park): Granada’s Science Museum is a family-friendly facility offering a variety of interactive displays and hands-on exhibits that are designed to appeal to all ages. The museum is divided into four themed sections: an exploration section, a biosphere, the Eureka! zone and the perception area. There’s also a planetarium and observatory on site for those interested in the solar system.
Museo de la Zambra: located in Las Cuevas del Sacromonte (the Caves of the Gypsies), the Zambra museum (Zambra translates as spontaneous dancing) features an extensive collection of traditional Flamenco costumes and related memorabilia and accessories. The museum is often the setting for local gypsy festivals in which live music and dancing are predominant features.
Museo Arqueologico y Etnologico: housed in a magnificent old period mansion with a Renaissance-style facade, Granada’s archaeological museum is home to a variety of artefacts discovered in the area including various archaeological treasures unearthed during excavations including plans of Roman remains and ancient Spanish objects.
