Buses tend to be less popular, except for travel around the province. By air: although there is an airport five miles from Cordoba, it's mainly for private planes. Malaga airport on the Costa del Sol is one of Spain's major hubs and the most important point of arrival for other European travellers. The transfer is approximately two hours. By bus: there are frequent buses to and from almost every city in Andalucia. Five buses per day serve the route to Madrid. There are seven different bus terminals in the town so it can be confusing trying to find the correct one.
