Museums & Galleries in Barcelona
The Picasso Museum: is the most popular museum in the city. The museum boasts one of the world’s most extensive collections of Picasso’s work which provide an insight into the mind of the genius. The medieval stone mansion on Carrer de Montcada, where the museum is located, is also worth a view.

The Museu de Geologia: is the oldest of Barcelona’s museums and is home to an extensive display of rocks, minerals and European fossils which date back 120 million years. It is also known as the Museum of Natural Science and is an invaluable public institution of science which serves the entire community.
Parc de la Ciutadella. Open: 10:00 to 14.30, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday; 10:00 to 18.30, Thursday and Saturday.
The Castell de Mont Juic: is the remains of the old fortress which have been turned into a military museum. The museum is located at the top of Mont Juic hill, offering panoramic views across the city.
Parc de Montjuic. Open: 09:30 to 19:30, Tuesday to Sunday.
The Fundacio Jean Miro: is Barcelona’s most prominent modern art museum displaying a number of works by famous and local artists.
Parc de Montjuic. Open: 10.00 to 19.00, Tuesdays to Saturdays; 10.00 to 21.30, Thursdays; 10.00 to 14.30, Sundays and public holidays.
La Pedrera: the actual building is the museum. The apartment block is one of Gaudi's creations and is the second most visited museums in Barcelona. It is also regarded as being one of the most unusual apartment blocks ever built. Today, La Pedrera is one of the most important museums in Barcelona and also houses renaissance drawings and a collection of modern art paintings.
La Pedrera, Provenca. Open: 10:00 to 20:00, Monday to Sunday.
Bullfight Museum: houses a large collection of famous toreros, historical documents and other objects from the world of bullfighting.
Plaza de Toros Monumental, Open: 10:30 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 19:00, daily.
