Introduction to Valencia - Almussafes
The town of Almussafes is a small community located within the province of Valencia, in the eastern coastal region of Spain. Only about 8,000 residents live within the township, but its population is steadily increasing. To the east of the commune is a large lake known as La Albufera, and the subsequent national park, which is named after the lake. The main highway running through the town is the CV-42, which passes through the eastern area of Valencia, Almussafes. While visiting the town, there are a number of sites to explore. Located in the heart if the commune is the town hall, which sits opposite Central Park; the park is a great place to relax and enjoy walking, jogging or picnicking in the city. There are two other parks found in the town, including Parque del Pinar and Parque de las Palmeras. However, the lake of Albufera is still the most attractive feature here, drawing many thousands of tourists each year.
