Torremolinos is Spain’s picturesque tourist hub on the Costa del Sol region. Prior to the tourist boom in the late 1950s, the town was a quiet fishing village. As one of the coast’s first beach resorts to take off, hotels in Torremolinos are prevalent and designed to meet the needs of all types of tourists. The area has become particularly popular with British tourists and expatriates who have taken to living in the small resort town.
