Introduction to Teruel, Spain
The province of Teruel in the Aragon region of northeast Spain may be one of the country's most isolated and least known areas, but that's expected to change once visitors learn about its beautiful scenery, stunning Mudejar architecture, and variety of hotels in Teruel. The majority of hotels are situated in its provincial capital also known as Teruel, a place where Jews, Muslims, and Christians peacefully lived together centuries ago. Hotels in Teruel range from modern accommodations to more picturesque and historic buildings to a quaint guesthouse located in an 18th century building. The city is also home to one of Spain's oldest and most picturesque hostels, where the bedspreads are flowered and the downstairs bar was once a stable. Two paradors, or historic Spanish buildings which have been turned into accommodations, are located in this province. One parador is located on the outskirts of the city, while the other is a former 12th century convent.other spellings: hotelsteruel, tereul hotell, teruel otel, hote terul, teruel hotle
