There are plenty of things to do while on holiday in Tenerife; the energetic head straight to Mount Teide to scale the peak, but there are also some lovely villages, interesting natural phenomenon such as the Cliffs of the Giants and the possibility of going on a whale watching boat trip. The Cliffs of the Giants is located on the west coast of the island, The Cliffs of the Giants or Acantilados de los Gigantes are dramatically sheer rock walls that plunge into the oceans. In some places, the height of the cliffs is as much as 800 metres. The best way to view the cliffs close up is by boat, and you can get a real feel for how big they are.
