Introduction to Tenerife - Los Cristianos
Tenerife’s Los Cristianos township is a beautiful holiday resort catering for travellers from all over Europe and beyond. Since a famed Swedish man came to this small village in the 1950s and spread the word of its warmth, sunshine and enchantment, the town has developed into an amazing part of the Tenerife tourism campaign. Most Los Cristianos hotels are found close one of the two beaches serving the town. The largest and arguably the most visited stretch of sand is Playa de Los Cristianos, which offers excellent swimming and sunbathing options, not to mention outstanding water sports, such as windsurfing and jet-skiing. Las Vistas Beach is the second-most important beachfront area in the town and is found across the headland, in a manmade breakwater.
