Filled with history and culture, the picturesque, traditional whitewashed town of Bormujos is a superb destination to learn about traditional Spain. Found less than 20kms from the cultural centre of Seville, Bormujos has much to offer visitors and makes for a great holiday spot. Plenty of historic sites can be visited, such as the Church of the Convent Sanata Maria la Real, which is known for its great works of art, and the 16th century Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation. The Haciendas La Peregrina and del Hoya Valencinilla are stunning examples of the city's ancient past and should not be missed. There are numerous festivals that take place each year in Bormujos including Holy Week, which takes place around Easter, and Vela Santiago and Sanata Ana.
