Introduction to Pyrenees-Catalan - Bossost
Surrounded by the stunning Pyrenees Mountains in northern Spain lies the picturesque village of Bossost. Found in the Aran Valley, Bossost is a popular destination for winter skiers and summer hikers alike, and is encircled by natural beauty. The village is situated on both sides of Pyrenees-Catalan's Garona River and is home to a number of endangered species, such as the Aran rock lizard and the bearded vulture. This wildlife attracts numerous nature lovers and there are some charming Bossost hotels that cater to visitors arriving year round.
