There is a continuous ferry service, linking Ceuta with continental Spain.

The majority of the rooms are decorated in a classical style whilst the remainder are modern. The suites are situated in the ancient vaults of the artillery park. Every single room is fully equipped.

The typical Andalusian cooking predominates here. The food is highly recommended and includes fried fish, seafood and dishes of Arab origin, in particular, the shish kebab.

Though the building is of modern construction, the hotel did conserve the ancient vaults of the Parque de la Artilleria, for use as suites. The building is set amongst spacious gardens. The cathedral, town hall and the church of Nuestra Senora de Africa stand in the same square as the hotel.
