Introduction to Palencia, Spain
The Spanish province of Palencia is situated in the northern part of the country, and almost half of its population lives in the province’s capital, also named Palencia. The city of Palencia is also where most of the province’s main attractions and hotels in Palencia can be found. Palencia hotels in the city range from luxury skyscrapers to low budget accommodations to everything in between. Most other hotels in Palencia are located in the town of Duenas, which has aparthotels where visitors may rent their own apartments in buildings featuring all the activities offered in conventional hotels, one hotel located in a converted abbey from the 17th century, and another hotel in the heart of a scenic Spanish vineyard.
