Introduction to Menorca - Mahon
Menorca, one of Spain’s Balearic Islands, is a beautiful haven of calm beaches, lush forested mountains and stunning resort towns. The city of Mahon (sometimes also called Mao) is the island’s capital and the centre of its art and cultural scene as well as being the home of some of the best Menorca hotels. Most of the hotels in Menorca Mahon are close to the port, which has regular ferries to the other islands in the group and to mainland Spain, as well as short pleasure cruise trips. This city is well-equipped with fun bars, restaurants serving delicious local and Spanish cuisine, and the best shopping streets on the island. Visit the old Arch de San Roque, or the beautiful Church of Santa Maria. There are also some historical squares and monuments dotted around the city, as well as a special art gallery inside the Town Hall.other spellings: mahonhotels, marhon otel, mahon hote, mahon hotles, mahon hotle, mahon hotes
