The Melia Araguaney Hotel, Santiago de Compostela is in the modern business district, just under a 10 minute walk from the historic old quarter and cathedral. One can also try the traditional Ribeiro which is the local wine with the chefs suggestions. There is also a very nice bar on the lower floor also open to the public where tapas and some other meals are also available.

It is medium sized and traditionally decorated and furnished with nice settees, tea tables, carpets and a fountain in the centre underneath the beautiful staircase leading to the upper floors just opposite the lifts. There is also an internet corner available.

The hotels is housed in a corner shaped traditional building in light marble. It is quite a reference in the area.
