Introduction to Mallorca - Santa Ponsa
There’s little chance of culture shock in the resort town of Santa Ponsa, a holiday spot that’s hugely popular. Little evidence of Spanish or Mallorcan culture is on hand, with tourist amenities and beach umbrellas dominating the scene. People come to Santa Ponsa for the beach and the sea, both of which are ideal for any kind of seaside holiday. Just a short drive along the coast is Mallorca’s capital, Palma, for even more options, but visitors should have no trouble finding all they need right in the resort village. If the beach gets tiresome, have some fun in the Aqualand water park, hit the go-kart track or putt some mini-golf. There’s no shortage of things to do for kids and adults alike around Santa Ponsa, including a full array of water sports along the main beach.
