Introduction to Malgrat de Mar, Spain
The small town of Malgrat de Mar, in the Spanish area of Catalonia, is on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. This is a popular region for holiday makers, though the town is less busy than others in the area. There are plenty of budget hotels in Malgrat de Mar, including along the seafront, as many of the people who visit use package deals. The Malgrat de Mar hotels on the seafront are generally quite modern and usually high rise, though there are smaller guesthouses and other similar establishments as well. The area is favoured by families because of the good value of the Malgrat de Mar hotels and the low-key feeling of the town.
