On the famous Costa del Sol in southern Spain, is the tourist resort city of Malaga. It has the double attraction of the beach and a historical centre, and so gets extremely busy during peak season. Therefore, if you do wish to visit, It is very important that you book all Malaga hotels well in advance. The guesthouses and hotels in Malaga along the seafront are relatively cheap, and generally have three stars, making them perfect for families and other travellers on a budget, though at either end of the beach, you will find the more expensive and luxurious hotels, including resort hotels. Malaga hotels in the historical city centre are a little more expensive and you can reach the city’ s main attractions, as well as access the beach, easily. A short walk from the hotels in the city centre is the Moorish castle, the cathedral and the Tribuna de los Pobres.
